A Visit to Budapest, Paris of the East

A Visit to Budapest, Paris of the East in February 2017. This city has been on my bucket list for sometime now and I am so glad we finally got to visit this wonderful city. We had a lovely apartment near to the main Parliament building with a view over the Danube river. We spent 4 days touring the city on both sides of the river and like Paris it has stunning architecture which is best viewed on foot. There are many sights to see and things to do in the city from ice skating next to the castle, boat trips down the river, thermal spas, art galleries and of course delicious food!  I hope you enjoy the photos of our trip and inspire you to visit this wonderful city.
